Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

The 1000i agency is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website (1000i.pl) for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) and continuously test and improve our website to remove barriers.

We believe that good software and design must be usable by everyone. For us, accessibility is not just a set of technical guidelines – it is an integral part of how we design and create digital products. We strive to apply these same high standards to our own digital presence.

What We Do Well

Our website relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript technologies. Thanks to the implemented standards, it achieves high scores in automated accessibility tests. We have achieved this by:

  • Correctly declaring the main language of the page, which supports screen readers.

  • Using descriptive alternative text (alt) for images and graphics.

  • Providing logical labels for form elements.

  • Using ARIA attributes to support navigation.

  • Maintaining a clear, concise layout without overusing disruptive animations.

Known Limitations

The website is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. Based on audits, we have identified areas that still require our attention:

  • Contrast: Some text elements may not meet the minimum contrast ratio requirements between text and background (4.5:1 ratio) in certain places.

  • Heading order: On some pages the heading order is not fully sequential.

  • Navigation and links: Some links lack unique and fully distinguishable names for screen readers (aria-labels). There are also text links distinguished solely by color, without additional underlining.

  • Hidden labels: In a few interactive elements, there is a mismatch between the visible text label and the accessible name hidden in the code.

Platform Limitations

Our website was built using the Wix platform. Some of the aforementioned barriers result from code markup generated automatically by this platform, which is beyond our direct control (e.g., the DOM structure of certain components). We monitor these issues and implement fixes on an ongoing basis as updates are released by the platform's creators.

Testing Approach and Dates

This statement was prepared based on manual verification (including keyboard navigation) and automated tests, for which we used:

  • Google Lighthouse – run on a representative sample of pages.

  • Wix Accessibility Monitor – a built-in platform tool.
