DEKRA: A Platform for Selling and Managing Training Courses

DEKRA Polska has been offering training and expert services to companies and institutions for over 20 years. Along with the development of its training offer, it needed a platform that would allow for the convenient presentation of training courses, schedule management, and the handling of online participant registrations.

Challenge

DEKRA's offer includes many training categories, dates, locations, and organizational variants. The user must be able to quickly find the training of interest, check the available dates, and go through the registration process without needing to contact the administration at every step.

On the DEKRA team's side, the challenge was to efficiently manage the offer, schedule, forms, email communication, and date changes.

Solution

We created and currently maintain a training platform that organizes DEKRA's offer and automates key elements of the training registration process.

Users can browse the training catalog, filter the schedule, check the location and date of the course, and submit their registration via an online form. After registration, the system generates an automatic confirmation with a summary of the application, participant details, organizational information, and cancellation policies.

Result

DEKRA gained a central tool for presenting, selling, and managing its online training offer. The platform makes it easier for users to find training courses and complete the registration process, while giving the DEKRA team a backend for the ongoing management of the offer, schedules, and communication.

The 1000software team has been maintaining and developing LegacyApp for years. They work well with code we deliver ourselves, including code written with AI tools, and adapt it to the strict security requirements of our product.

They keep the application stable and support us with advice on architecture and security. Like any long-term cooperation, ours had its harder moments, but even in crisis situations the team stayed engaged, responsive, and focused on solutions.
